- Pray for our community - there has been a rise in violence in recent months
- Pray for victims of human trafficking. Pray the rescued will find peace, hope, and love.
- Pray for stricter laws against those who are buying women and children for sex. Pray that law makers
would see the evil of human trafficking and will create laws to fight against it.
- Pray for the ladies who come in to take showers and receive clothing - many are looking for work & affordable housing
- Pray for our transitional housing residents as they look for daycare and work.

As you shop for birthdays, holidays, or personal items, be sure to use GoodShop for a percentage of your purchases to go to us. It will not charge you anything extra for any of the services.
Recycling Fundraiser
Friendship House can turn your used cell phones and ink jet printer cartridges in to funding for the programs here. Recycling Fundraiser is a program designed for non-profits to raise money. You can send your used cell phones and printer cartridges to us at 813 Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117 or you may click on the link to the Recycling Fundraiser page and mail them directly to them with our name on a sheet of paper inside the box. It is free to mail them directly. Please note that only the cartridges that fit in your hand will be accepted. Toner cartridges are not accepted by the organization.
